iTunes to me is the bad brother of Steam. It is more than willing to take your money buy forgets what you have purchased already. I logged into Steam for the first time in 5 years and it remembered ALL of my purchases and I re-downloaded my long lost digital content. Unfortunately Apple is not that nice when it comes to digital property. I will be hesitant when purchasing anything else from iTunes.... Shame on you Apple.

This is not quite as bad as Bad Boys 2 or Pearl Harbor, but still really aweful. The ultra-fast editing makes the action hard to follow and the camera work makes you feel like you're watching a commercial or music video. The characters are very cartoonish and unbelievable. But the worst thing about the movie is the screenplay. There are so many plot holes and scientific errors it's not even worth counting. Did these guys at least take astronomy class? Not to mention it gave me a ripping headache afterwards. Grade: F

This is a frekin 1998 movie, and it will take 14 years for studios to wise up and finally allow this on iTunes for streaming ?
14 YEARS ….. Talk about fighting tooth and bloody nail ….. No wonder people pirate….. :) And at the same time they are AGAINST…… lol what a joke,… If they only release movies sooner for streaming, piracy wouldn’t be as big as it is...

I absolutely love this movie! I went to the movie theaters 3 times to see this when I was 18. It has so many memories tied to it from my life. The best year of my life when this came out. The acting was great and it was way better than the other movie "Deep Impact" when it came out. Made me cry too.

The movie does what it's intended to do very well: you laugh when your supposed to and you sit in awed silence when your supposed to. It's a literal "no brainer", deactivate the brain sit back and watch. Most of you aren't physics majors and appreciate the FACT that it is a SCIENCE FICTION flick

I realize that this movie might be a far cry from reality, so those of you that are looking for real-life drama, it may not be your kind of movie. For those people who are looking for a movie with action, drama, romance, comedy, and suspense, I highly recommend. Great ending, but I won't spoil it for those of you who have never seen it. Add it to your "must watch" list; you will not be disappointed. My favorite movie of all time.

This is my favorite movie, and here is why. This movie is about much more than a astriod on a collision course with Earth. Its about the true heroic nature of every human. The movie is about a group of men who are completely taken out of their element and thrown into a situation that they shouldn't ever be in, and how working together even against all odds you can still come out on top. I believe this movie is perfectly casted, scripted, and the music just adds to the dramatic nature of the film. The excitement never dies, no matter how many times you watch it. Its simply awesome!

I still remember watchin dis movie in theaters and seeing grown folks cryin to dis movie, and I'm not gonna lie I teared to dis movie aswell. Now I don't want to spoil da movie but dat 1 scene where Harry(Bruce Willis) is talking to his daughter towards da end has got to be saddest movie scene ever of any movie. I must of seen dis movie about 50 times and dat 1 scene always gets to me. I actually showed my gurl not too long ago dat 1 scene on my iPhone and she cried(so cute lol)... Now if ur thinking bout buyin dis movie den buy it, trust me it's worth it... GREAT MOVIE!!!!!!

Wow. This movie is totally awesome! The all-star cast comes together for a great movie! I thought the dry sarcastic humor was on target as well as the romantic scenes. IMHO, this movie can be watched over and over again and it still blows your mind! and THANKS Itunes for putting this movie on sale. $4.99 is a great price especially when people already own the movie.

This is by far one of the best "saving the world" movies ever made. Bruce Willis at his finest, amazing cinematography, and nail-biting action sequences. Not only is it an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride, but also has a good emotional storyline and a moving musical score to back up the image. Definitely worth buying.

This is a GREAT movie! My dad and I have to have seen it like 50 times. I am not joking. It is one of those movies that you can whatch over and over again. We recently got an hd tv, and home theater system. It is ten times better that way. You can here ten times more sound effects than whatching it on a normal tv with no home theater. If you haven't seen this movie you should rent it or buy it and whatch it.

Awesome Movie, i loved it good plot and good characters. I know many people complain about how the physics is wrong and that its alot of the concepts are riduculus in the movie. Well i am currently a physics major and yea the physics are very wrong but i love the movie anyways i don't care if the physics are wrong if it is still a great story and the effects in the movie are amazing. What is there not to like?

When reading these reviews to figure if you want to buy it or not, consider this. Most, if not all, of the bad reviews are from Micheal Bay haters. I have seen this movie, I have seen Pearl Harbor, I have seen Transformers. They were all, for the most part, excellent and great to watch. I will admit openly that this movie is a good bit over the top. The main idea is that a massive space rock is gonna slam into earth and kill everything if a group of ordinary folks turned spacemen doesn't stop it. The movie is intense and well done all things considered. If you like sci-fi, or like these "save the earth" sort of films then this is a good buy. If that kind of thing isnt for you, then don't bother getting it only to justify giving a bad review.

If there was a no star rating, I'd give it to this movie. I put this movie right up there with PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. So bad that it's mildly amusing. And don't think that they consulted a science book in this movie. Can anyone tell me how you have a fire in the vacuum of space? It also might have helped if the actors would have actually tried acting. Enjoy it for the laughs.

Why, why, why does Michael Bay continue to torture us with awful movies? Seriously, tihs isn't even a movie. Everything about it is so over done. An asteroid the size of Texas. There is no way. Destroying said asteroid with one, let me repeat, one, nuke. It is not possible. The acting is awful in this film. Such great actors doing such god awful work. Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck, Steve Buscemi, Liv Tyler, and Billy Bob Thorton turning in one of the worst performances of their career. Everything about this movie is bad. It is even overly dramitic. Why do you need to show us the shots of american flags and clapping people during the launch sequence. My god, grow up! The special effects make you squint, the plot is ludicrous, the acting is awful, in other words, one of the wort films of modern times.

I remember when this movie came out, along with the annoying Aerosmith song, and catching it on cable thinking to myself that this has to be one of the worst movies I've seen. I know a lot of people love this movie, along with Pearl Harbor which is also trash, but it really has no value at all. Poorly done action, even worse dialogue, stupid plot, and generic in every way. I seriously feel that Michael Bay should be stopped from making any other movie again, because every other movie he has made is total crap. Oh, and not mention he is going to ruin Transformers this summer which I loved as a kid.
