In patients with nontuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) lung disease, treatment decisions rarely follow a one-size-fits-all approach. In this expert-led discussion, Dr. Kenneth Olivier and Dr. Shelby MacRae join Dr. Charles Turck to explore how disease characteristics, patient priorities, and evolving clinical factors can inform individualized treatment strategies across the NTM care continuum. Dr. Olivier is the Michael E. Hatcher Distinguished Professor of Medicine, Microbiology, and Immunology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he also serves as Research Director of the Bronchiectasis and NTM Care and Research Center. Dr. MacRae is an Assistant Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Director of the Environmental Lung Disease, Bronchiectasis, and NTM Program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
