ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Welcome to "The Half Marathon Episode" of the PR Project! Since it's our 131st episode, we had to show some love to the 13.1-mile distance. The crew goes down memory lane to share our first half marathon experiences, debate what makes it the ultimate race distance, and drop our personal list of the best half marathons to put on your bucket list. We also get tactical with a definitive list of Do’s and Don’ts for first-time half marathon runners to make sure your first race is a massive success.
With the final countdown officially on, Tommie shares his headspace, strategy, and final outlook as he stands just one week away from toeing the line at the legendary Western States Endurance Run. To wrap things up, Run Culture Court handles session on spectators who lie about how much of the race is left ("You're almost there!"), when we actually start paying attention to crowd signs, and a highly important debate on carryout napkin etiquette.
