"Fear is actually a good thing, it's a compass to what you really want in life, it means you're doing the things that make you feel alive".

As someone who is constantly worried/afraid about the uncertainties of the future, this little piece of wisdom from Derek Sivers was extremely insightful to me.

I'm so incredibly lucky to have had the chance to interview one of my living heroes and talk to him about how to live a useful life (the topic of his last book, which I totally recommend - "Useful, Not True").

We also talked about:

- How to keep bad feelings at bay when chasing your biggest dreams (and when was his last really shitty day?)

- What is he most excited about in life?

- How a minor shift in perspective on things can really make a difference on how you view the world?

- Why you don't HAVE TO do things and instead CHOOSE to do them?

- How to minimize distractions to keep the one thing the one thing?

- Why 'Boring' / 'Comfortable' is the real enemy and not fear?

- And finally, what does he want out of life right now? And what does he do about it?

I enjoyed every second of it and I'm sure you will as well :)
