HUAWEI HiLink merges the functions of the Huawei Mobile WiFi and RuMate apps to provide you with a more consistent and simplified management experience.
As a uniform management app, HUAWEI HiLink works with many Huawei products, such as Huawei Mobile WiFi (E5 series), Huawei routers, Honor Cube, and Huawei home gateways. It can be used to search for and manage all HUAWEI HiLink terminal devices.
Huawei HiLink is an app that lets you manage your HiLink devices from your phone or tablet.
Functions:
• View network status, including your carrier name, roaming status, and signal strength.
• Manage connected devices, disconnect any device at the touch of a button, and set Internet access priorities.
• Remind you when you have low battery, steep data usage, and new messages.
• Save and back up the files in your phone or tablet to the microSD card in your HiLink device.
• Share photos, songs, and installation files without generating mobile data traffic.
• Diagnose and optimize your HiLink device to its optimum state.
• Toggle between sleep and standard modes.
• Enable parental control and set limits on the duration of Internet usage for children.
• Set up a guest Wi-Fi network to improve the security of your home network.
• Provide diverse functionality, including the Internet connection wizard, SSID and password modification, APN modification, carrier selection, and device shutdown or restart.

I don’t have any problems with the app granted: it doesn’t do much anyways. No management of advanced device settings etc. Also: Why does it need my location?

Ich melde mich an mit dem Passwort und dann nach einige Tagen später muss ich das Passwort erneut eingeben und dann steht da, dass das Passwort falsch ist obwohl ich das richtige Passwort eingeben. Bitte beheben Sie den Fehler.

Funktioniert nicht
Es hat mal 1 tag geklappt wo ich es neu instliert habe aber seid dem funktioniert es nicht mehr steht immer da das ich nicht mit dem wlan verbunden bin, würde 0 sterne geben.

gut bis auf
gibts dzt im vorhandenen funktionsumfanges nichts wirklich zu beanstanden.
funktioniert alles beinahe wie es soll (bis auf das passwort desaster und den fingerabdruck)
kann auf der vorhandenen basis sehr gut erweitert werden!
ubd zwar mit folgendem:
sollte noch die aktuelle up/download rate/geschwindigkeiten anzeigen !! am besten im freien bereich unter dem kreis mit der anzeige des verbrauchs.
wenn dann noch die jeweils tägliche wöchentliche und monatlich (jährlich wär ja dann auch noch möglich😉)
selbige einstellungen bzgl sollte auch für den im kreis angeführten verbrauchsanzeige (kb/mb/gb/tb) jeweils zum selbst einstellen in den gerade benötigten einheit.
einsteigen mit fingerabdruch fehlt !!! leider !!! ebenso!!
sehr störend alle paar stunden immer und immer wieder das passwort einzugeben!
kontraproduktiv und nicht effizient!! kostet nur unötig zeit!
was auch noch sehr sinnvoll wäre eine push nachricht vom gerät aufs gerade aktuelle verwaltungs gerät (zb iphone ipad usw) welche die verbleibende akkuladung mitteilt.
vor allem wichtig wenn gewisser wert unterschritten wird um rechtzeitig auf laden zu können. damit der betrieb uneingengeschränkt erhalten werden kann ( zb mit akkupack im rucksack. denn da bemerkt man die rote led nicht)
auch das man diesen wert selbst einstellen kann.
mit diesen verbesserungen würde es dann die beste mir bekannte app in diesem verwendungsbereich sein.

Administrator-Anmeldung fehlerhaft
iPhone 7,iOS 12.4.1. Die Administrator-Anmeldung funktioniert leider nicht, kommt immer eine Fehlermeldung. Zertifikat ist auch installiert. In der Desktop Versionen kann man sich normal anmelden. Leider ist die App so funktionslos.... Ist meiner Meinung nach ein totaler Bug mit welchem die App nicht angeboten werden dürfte, deshalb vorerst nur 1 Stern

unbrauchbar
Im Ausland hatte ich gar keine Möglichkeit Roaming einzustellen, da ich mich nicht anmelden konnte. Auch nach mehrmaligem rücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen war nichts zu machen. Also keine Internetverbindung 😒👎 In Österreich bekomme ich zum Glück ohne Probleme meinen Internetzugang. Auf der Routerseite wird zwar alles angezeigt, aber anmelden geht auch zu Hause nicht. Die App erzählt mir gleich „Gerät nicht verbunden“ und es lässt sich auch nicht nach mindestens 50 weiteren Versuchen verbinden ....

Ich hab die Huawei B529s für LTE Internet (WLAN deaktiviert) über Ethernet an der Apple Timecapsule (WLAN Router) angeschlossen. Die HiLink App funktioniert bei mir einwandfrei! Ich kann die Login Probleme der anderen User nicht nachvollziehen! Einmal als Admin angemeldet, bleibt das auch nach Neustart der App so! Ich nutze die App hauptsächlich um das Gerät zu rebooten. Geht viel einfacher und schneller als über den Browser!

Sinnlose App, funktioniert scheinbar nur, wenn man das integrierte WLAN benutzt.
Wenn man wie ich aber ein sinnvolles Heimnetzwerk hat, wo verkabelte AccessPoints ihren Dienst verrichten, bleibt die Verbindung zum Router unterbrochen. Im Browser am Smartphone kann ich den Router ohne Probleme erreichen...

Andauerndes Abmelden
Ich finde die App relativ praktisch, allerdings werde ich ständig dazu aufgefordert mich anzumelden obwohl ich dies schon mehrmals gemacht habe. Ich öffne die App und melde mich als Admin an, tippe auf eines der Geräte, ändere zum Beispiel den Namen und werde sofort wieder dazu aufgefordert mich als Admin anzumelden.

Es wäre toll wenn es eine Fern-Abschaltfunktion geben würde. Damit ich das Gerät über Nacht per App Ausschalten kann und nicht jedesmal runterlaufen muss.

Not finding/connecting device
V8.0.5.301 and Mobile WiFi E5786s-32a.
Useless app as it cannot find the device, although the mobile is connected to the modem. Included certificate is also unsigned. Not sure if iPhone X on IOS 11 has a problem with that regarding security.

Sämtliche abgebildete Funktionen sind in der App gar nicht vorhanden (speedtest unsw..)
Nur ein Datenzähler is da, und der funktioniert zumindest.
Die sonstigen Einstellmöglichkeiten, Netzwerk, Apn, Neustart klappen tadellos.

Not very well thought out
The app features basic functionality you find in the web interface too. Some options are not available though.
What sucks is with the new update the scale of the signal strength and battery percentage has been shrunken. Looks very tiny on an iPhone 5. The app still does not feature a traffic plan for prepaid SIM cards useful for travelers. So I mainly use the app for switching my HUAWEI E5377 off remotely when I'm to lazy to press the button.

Wrong data usage statistics
Quite good app, but some annoying bugs:
- data usage is not correct (600GB traffic per day over 3G is simply not possible)
- the app is still not updated to support the iPhone 6 / 6+, which is a shame for the app

Funktioniert gut, Datenverbrauch stimmt wohl nur ungefähr, die App zeigt aber eh nur die Daten an, der das huawei gerät zählt. Ich habe nur das Problem, dass die SMS Funktion bei mir nicht geht ("Fehlgeschlagen"), was blöd ist, wenn ich datenvolumen nachsuchen will o.ä. Betreibe mein E5336 mit einer e-plus sim Karte.

Bin mit den Funktionen voll zufrieden. SMS, anmelden, Einstellungen ändern usw funktioniert aber der Verbrauch der monatlichen Daten stimmt nicht überein. Verbesserung notwendig!!
