Only big downside to me is that there is still no dark mode ‘yet’. Please make this a priority!

What about an ad-free subscription?
While I very much appreciate the high quality of the content, the increasing number of ads is becoming obnoxious (content loads slowly and sometimes gets rearranged when the ads finish loading). The digital subscription is very affordable, but couldn’t you just offer a more expensive, ad-free one as well?

I would appreciate it if the number of ads would be a little bit less. Also, I pay for the basic subscription and see ads promoting the NY Times, which does not make any sense, because I already pay for it.

Could it be that the last update introduced some sort of enforced time-out to spend on an ad while scrolling down? I am paying for a subscription and have to wait for the ad to play

Great newspaper, mediocre app
This is not a comment on the Times, but rather on the app. It suffers frequent crashes, painfully slow downloads, and a strange sorting of articles to be included in the iPhone site. It certainly is not worthy of the paper itself.
