Bills io is a privacy first, personal finance app that keeps organizes, manages, and notifies you about your recurring and one-off expenses (Bills). Get started with a full featured, ad-free app experience today! Bills io is free to start and will always stay free to get started with your personal finances.
Store and track your Bills between devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac). Learn about how much money is used for monthly subscriptions, utilities, and day to day expenses like rent. Track and record payments that fluctuate each month. Bills io will calculate the average cost to help you plan how much money you need for bills every month. You can now export this data to Excel or Numbers to process how you'd like.
Bills io uses Apple's built in syncing via iCloud and your data stays with you in your iCloud account. There is no 3rd party looking into the Bills you add in the app. Everything is processed on device, and none of your data is sold to analytics companies. Bills io takes privacy as a first principle for all current and upcoming features.
Because Bills io does not connect to your bank account, please note you will have to input your bills to track. It is easy to set up recurring bills and expenses, but it is manual. Your privacy is important; take this time to review what should continue to be purchased every month and what may have been forgotten about.

BILL TRACKING:
Organize your bills with tags and track where each bill charges by account. For example, Bills io can tell you how much money your credit card gets charged per month for all of your subscriptions. You can then plan to budget that cost every month with your bank account.
PAYMENT LOG:
Track and record when you pay a Bill online. Bills io allows you to record any notes about a payment to recall later on. Notes support basic Markdown formatting to allow for links, formatting, and complex records. Export all of your payments to a CSV file for processing outside Bills io.
OVERVIEW:
See, track, and record payments for your upcoming Bills. Check out your recent payments and see how much money is due in the next week or month. Bills io tracks your average monthly cost for all bills.
NOTIFICATIONS:
Notifications are handled locally and never sent out from a server. Be notified for bills you pay manually or get notified before an auto withdrawal.
SYNCING:
Bills io uses CloudKit to sync your data privately inside your iCloud account. You do not need an account signup or to upload your sensitive financial data. Bills io cannot see any of your personal finances and there is no magic algorithm processing your payment history while selling your data.

Summer is here and so is a complete overhaul to Bills io. A lot of work went into this release and will allow for easier updates in the future. All of the code is now shared between iOS, iPad, and macOS versions to bring features out faster and with more consistency between platforms. Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoy this release!
This is a major update that brings a lot of behind the scenes maintenance for future features. But, rest assured, there are a lot of great additions included:
▶ Graphs! You can now see a visual overview of how much money is going out per month or dive into each bill and see month by by month amounts (Premium Only)
▶ Filters have replaced the multiple list options to organize bills. You can now stay in the same list and change filters for various accounts, tags, collections, or see all of the archived bills. (Premium for Account, Tag, and Collection filtering)
▶ Windowing is added to the iPad with full support for popping out windows for individual bills. Keep a bunch of bills open in Stage Manager while paying
▶ Redesigned overview section to see a view of what is due when and for how much
▶ Search any list to filter by bill name, accounts, tags, etc.
▶ Bill notes, jot down any information and save it with a bill. Account numbers, addresses, or anything else. (Premium Only)
▶ Redesigned Account, Tag, and Collection selectors. You can now make edits to any of your organizational tools in-line and while paying or editing a bill
▶ Menus for bills are redone with additional actions
▶ Landscape interface support, use Bills io in any orientation
▶ Adding urls no longer need http:// or https:// for Safari to open the link
▶ Updated the purchasing logic for in-app purchases
