I expected way more from Toshiba

The app feels oldschool and not well developed.
You can already see that on the Home Screen, the app is visible as „Toshibe Home…“, which already says everything. A proper naming is key.
Same for the iPad Version, no landscape.
In general the app is not really intuitive or state-of-the-art.
To summarize, I have bought super expensive Toshiba HAORI ACs, but unfortunately didn’t check the app before buying. I would have decided against Toshiba.

App crash and not tested with German language

The app crashes if you try to switch off the WLAN Led.
If you switch the app to german, the layout for the dialog to add new devices is completely destroyed

Frechheit

Es soll Menschen geben, die bereits erkannt haben, dass es i-Pads gibt. Diese benutzt man normalerweise im Querformat.
Für diese App ist genannter Umstand offenbar ignoriert worden. Faulheit, Dummheit,…?
Man zahlt 1000e Euro und darf sich dann so eine Frechheit bieten lassen…?!
Wieso muss ICH immer auf alles hinweisen?

Not really helpful

This app shows too less data from my heating. To have an overview about my system I need information like actual temp of my hot water tank, does the heat pump actually heat up my hot water tank or my underfloor heating, various flow temperature, how often turns the heat pump on and off, etc etc etc.
All this information I miss! I am very disappointed of Toshiba.
Sorry, but this app is simply not helpful!

Complete Fail

One has to wonder if Toshiba tests this App at all.
Luckily I had an older phone with another operating system (which you are not allowed to mention) to set up a few wifi adapters. The App just doesn't work, at least on iOS 17.
Simply unacceptable for a multi room ac system in this price range.

Seit Update wird Klimaanlage nicht mehr angezeigt

Seit dem letzten Update wird meine Klimaanlage leider nicht mehr in der App angezeigt. Beim Versuch die Anlage neu mit der App zu verknüpfen wird gemeldet, dass diese schon verknüpft sei…
Somit kann ich die App derzeit nicht verwenden. Sehr schade!

Nicht Zeitgemäß

Ab und zu gibt es immer Verbindungsprobleme , da hilft dann die App neu zu starten . Das sollte mal in Angriff genommen werden. Die Optik ist eher so 2010 und nicht 2023 . Außerdem sollte man mal die Geräte auch für Apple HomeKit kompatibel Machen. Es gibt halt vieles zum verbessern . Grundsätzlich die Funktion ist ok .

Keine Rückmeldung Email Registrierung nicht möglich

Ich habe mich bei der App angemeldet, bekomme eine Meldung das ich eine Email bekomme, es kommt aber nichts an. Die Mailadresse ist richtig, keine Spam …. Es funktioniert einfach nicht. Jetzt habe ich das Toshiba Wlan Teil gekauft und kann es wegen der App nicht nützen? 😡

It does what it should

The app does what it should. It would be nice if it would update in the background without covering the user interface when it is sending the changes to the AC.
I do have a feature request:
I wish there was a way to set a minimum and maximum temperature for the auto-mode. A certain deviation of the intended temperature can save lots of energy.
Minimum: 24
Maximum: 27
Also an API-Endpoint would be nice. I'd like to integrate the AC into my other home automations.

Improvable

First of all, the app does do its job.
As a software engineer myself I wont give in to more bashing on the app design and would like to point out, that I think it is pretty cool, that you can also use additional functions like the air purification mode and so on.
A really nice improvement would be the integration of the air conditioner into Apple Home. I would like to kindly request this feature.

Das schlechteste App

Es kommt immer die Meldung „Kein Zugriff möglich versuchen sie es später nochmals oder wenden sie sich an denn Support „ und der ist nicht erreichbar!

App startet nicht mehr

Seit kurzem lässt sich die App nicht mehr starten . Ich bekomme den Login Screen und beim Versuch sich ein zu loggen kommt die Fehlermeldung "device nicht verbunden" welches device. Die klima Geräte? Das Handy. Obwohl das hat Internet Verbindung. Denn ich schreibe ja gerade die Rezession. ;)

Für die heutige Zeit eine Frechheit

Das App ist wirklich nicht das gelbe vom Ei. Zu Hause kann ich komischer weise nicht auf mein Toshiba Gerät zugreifen. Lange Ladezeiten und ab und zu wird gar kein Gerät angezeigt (es kommt auch keine Fehlermeldung)
Um die App mit dem Gerät verbinden zu können - bitte nicht die Anleitung lesen - die ist falsch herum 😂
Handy mit dem inverter verbinden - danach den Code nochmal vom inverter eingeben und dann das wlan einbinden
Bitte um updates - dringend

alternativlos

übel diese app verwenden zu müssen wenn ein toshiba split gerät smart werden soll. samsung liegt hier leider und quantensprünge vorne.

Einfach nur schlecht!

Schlecht umgesetzte App!
Funktioniert oft nicht, muss oft neu gestartet werden.
Schlechte Positionierung der Elemente in der Anzeige.
Bietet nicht mal alle Funktionen der normalen Fernbedienung (nur die wichtigsten Basisfunktionen sind verfügbar).
Sehr langsam und unzuverlässig.
Absolut unnötig!
