Good App - bad map Update

I have some 1GB or more maps loaded. Now I need only one Country to be updated, but app does not allow selection of one country for update, instead updates all at once. What if little time left or weak internet connection? This is a no-go.

Unschlagbar und sehr genau

Top. Gefällt mir Besser als Karten oder GoogleMaps. Tolle Technologie. Meines Wissens benutz BMW und Mercedes die BasisSoftware auch 😉

PS: Einziges Manko, Mallorca und Ibiza funktioniert die Strassensuche kaum. Hintergrund sind nichT nur die Namensänderung sondern auch der Dialekt auf Mallorquin oder Ibizenco. Abhilfe Schaft in Karten suchen. Aber Chaos und Durcheinander ist eh auf den Balearen Standart 😂

Fahrleistungen pro Jahr: ca. 110.000 km !
Hab sehr viele Navi-Apps schon getestet und Magic Earth ist einfach für mich die beste Lösung!
Beste Alternative zu NAVIGON
Schnell, sehr einfach zu bedienen, anspruchsvolle Grafik, top aktuelle Karten und noch vieles mehr.
Möglichkeit zum anlegen von eigenen Ordnern um die Favoriten besser und übersichtlicher zu organisieren!
Einfach eine TOP Navigations-App die jederzeit rund läuft und sehr ZUVERLÄSSIG ist !!!
5 Sterne sind hier eindeutig zu wenig !!!

Eigentlich gut

Eigentlich eine wirklich gute App nur bleibt sie immer an den gleichen Stellen hängen. Mit dem Support schon mehrmals in Kontakt getreten jedoch wurde das Problem nicht behoben.

Ganz ok

Für eine gratis App super, aber müsste etwas verbessert werden.
Leider verliert das Navi in einem Tunnel den Verstand. Geschwindigkeiten sind nicht überall richtig. Habe versucht den Support anzuschreiben, aber leider kam die Mail nie an und es kam eine Fehlermeldung retour.
Die Routenplanung war auch manchmal fragwürdig. Auf einer geraden Straße sollte ich im Kreis fahren und in Wien am Gürtel umdrehen?
Neuer Fehler: in Klosterbeuburg sagt das nach leider nicht das man sich links halten soll. Zeigt nur Pfeil. Somit musste ich umdrehen... sonst top

Bin eigentlich zufrieden. Sehr detaillierte Anzeige.
Was fehlt ist ein Tunnelasistent, da das Navi im Tunnel, das Signal verliert, braucht es lange, bis es wieder geht. Im Tunnel die Ansage bitte wenden, geht gar nicht.

Amazing app!!!

Congratulations to the developers! I tested the app today with CarPlay. Works perfect. I love the terrain maps, and the many details!! Amazing! Many thanks for making this app!!!
However I noticed one bugs: When I enter my home address, it directs me not to the parking lot of my home address street, it directs me to a different street which is closer to my actual apartment nr. This “could” be a feature, however it’s an unusual behavior compared to other Navi systems. The solution would be (for car navigation), not to use apartment Nr as the destination point, instead use the closest endpoint to my apartment of my address street as end point.
-> for a car navigation system, it does not make sense to end the drive on a different street than the street of my final destination.

Superb App

This free app is great and works fine. There is only one issue: in a roundabout, approaching the exit, the arrow on the display shows the car already in the next street but the car is actually still in the roundabout just at the exit. This issue can be seen on turns as well. Is it possible to fix?

Mein Lieblingsnavi🥇

Sehr gutes Navi. Gefällt mir weit mehr als mein fest verbautes Tom-Tom-Navi im Auto. Dazu noch kostenlos. Besten Dank. Super wäre noch eine Erweiterung um das Navi auch in einem Wohnmobil verwenden zu können. LG KAI👍

Aktualisierung der Karten ist wohl ein Fremdwort !!

Das Aktualisieren von den Karten ist wohl ein Fremdwort - warum werden alle Karten gelöscht wenn nur eine Aktualisierung der Karten ansteht 😡 Wenn man auf aktualisieren klickt werden alle Karten gelöscht und man muss alles neu laden, hier wäre wohl ein besseres Programmieren der Software sinnvoll 🤪 Immer alle Karten neu laden ist ein NO GO 😡

One of the best Navi

Works perfect for car navigation. OSM data highly welcome! All countries. All for free. Some features very helpful. That’s really great.
Some extra navigation regulars for motor biking would be on my wishing list!

Free offline and online GPS navigation

I would say this app offers everything a casual driver like myself needs: up-to-date maps that can be downloaded, so you don't need to use up your (roaming) data - especially when going abroad.
Even though I have a hardwired GPS built into my car, I like to use this app alongside it, for example when I'm chatting with friends to meet up at a certain location, it's simply quicker to use the app.
One word of caution, though: always check where your destination points to before starting your route! For example "airport" might point to a hangar or a building, instead of the public parking lot. This has caused confusion in the past :D
